These are exciting days for us as a church. We have experienced much growth. God is nurturing us to be a people passionate about following Him and hungry to change our world.

Our greatest challenge in the days ahead is to continue to grow our ministries in rented space. Owning a building has never been our first priority – it has always been to see God change us and our world through us. But we knew there would come a time when a building could greatly enhance our ability to reach people. We believe that time is now.

Up Our Game: Orlando and Beyond is our plan to acquire our own ministry building. This initial project will provide space for all of our current Sunday morning ministries. It will allow us to double the size of our church with two services and grow further by adding a third and fourth service if needed.

Even more intriguing will be the opportunity to develop ministries throughout the week that have been difficult, and even impossible to organize without our own facility. Uniquely designed and outfitted, this building will welcome adults, students and children to a place where we can introduce them to Jesus Christ, and see them grow in their walk with him.

One of the things I love about our church is the way we continually prioritize others – our actions speak that every week. What motivates me most about Up Our Game is the impact we will have on hundreds of more lives – lives that will be changed by God and in turn change our world, Orlando and Beyond.

This Up Our Game brochure explains our plans in more detail. The only way for us to move forward on this project is for each of us to commit to pray and give financial gifts over a three-year period. This is our biggest step of faith ever as a church. It’s time for us to follow God’s lead and watch Him Up Our Game: Orlando and Beyond.

Prayer Walks at our Potential Church Home
Sundays April 27 and May 4, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Norbridge property will be open so you can spend anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour walking through the facility, praying for God’s leading and provision.

24-Hour Prayer Vigil
May 2, 6 p.m. – May 3, 6 p.m.
Participate in a 24-hour prayer vigil and the possible future home of CrossWay Community Church. Commit to coming the the Norbridge Property for a one-hour block during this 24-hour period. The facility will be staffed for security purposes. Sign up for your slot at the information table.

Because God Has Grown Our Ministry
Since re-launching as CrossWay Community Church in October 2001, we have followed God’s vision to build a church that leads people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ both here in East Orlando and beyond.

Many lives have been changed as God has grown our church with people committed to the vision. By His leading and grace, we have:

• Grown from 40 people to more than 500 people impacted by our ministries.
• Multiplied Community Groups from 12 to 140 adults participating.
• Discipled more than 100 children and 70 students on a weekly basis.
• Partnered with local ministries to reach our community through initiatives such as the food pantry, jail ministry, pregnancy center, and outreach on the UCF campus.
• Increased our missionary support by 1,000 percent.
• Supported a missionary family called and sent from our body; others are also preparing to go.

Because God has called us to serve East Orlando. We can:

• Reach out to a total of 214,000 people residing within five miles of our church.
• Come along side UCF students from 136 different nations.
• Encourage and strengthen marriages and families.
• Raise up and send out more people into local and overseas fulltime ministry.

Acquiring our own building to better reach and serve more people.

We will purchase 11,682 square feet of space at the Lake Underhill Business Center currently being constructed right next to Legacy Middle School.

Our facility will include…

A Worship Center
We will meet in this 350-seat center for worship on Sunday mornings. It will also provide for mid-week student ministries, special outreaches to children and their parents, and group studies. In addition, it can be furnished to host Summit meetings or other special functions.

A Café/Student Center
Every home needs a family room and CrossWay is no different. Comfortable and quaint, this Café will be designed for students and adults to enjoy. This room along with the Worship Center will allow multiple ministry activities to meet on the same night in our church.

Nursery/PreSchool
First-class facilities for our babies and toddlers will calm any mom’s concerns and provide teachers with a great environment to begin teaching children about the love of Jesus. Mid-week these rooms can be used for a Mom’s Day Out program and other ministries that need childcare.

CrossWay Kids
Rooms will be strategically designed for children’s church. They will include a small stage and areas for breakout sessions that facilitate the more intimate interaction between the children and their small group leaders who are trained to model God’s love for them.

Office Space
A place will be designated to print weekly children’s devotionals, plan community outreaches, receive guests, and provide office space for our ministry directors and pastors.

Each of these rooms will expand the ministry of CrossWay so we can better care for the families in our community. We want to see our neighbors—and the world—transformed by Christ. We are asking God for changed lives that change our world.

Up Our Game is our opportunity to put down deeper roots in this community so we can extend our reach further. This three-year program will enable us to raise the necessary funds for our initial facility. The estimated cost of the building and build out is $3 million. We need to raise $300,000 by June 15 in order to move forward. We will also seek an additional $600,000 in commitments over the next three years. The giving of these commitments would run from June 2008 through June 2011 and should be over and above a weekly tithe to CrossWay.

Beginning Sunday April 13 we will begin a series that will kick-off Up Our Game. Between April 20 and May 3, we ask that you attend one of the group fellowships hosted throughout the community. The following week (May 4-10), every family and single adult in our church will meet in a family conference to pray about his or her financial commitment. On May 11, CrossWay

will make a three-year commitment as a church family to Up Our Game. Sunday, May 18 will be a time of celebration of how God has led, also giving us an opportunity to give a first fruits offering—a contribution to the initial down payment needed. As each of us gives, God will empower us to meet the needs of East Orlando, the world, and future generations for Christ.

HOW CAN I COMMIT TO GIVE TO UP OUR GAME?
Each person will be asked to pray during the week of May 4 and seek God's will on how much to commit over a three-year period. The next Sunday, May 11, we will turn in a commitment pledge during the worship service and May 18 we will contribute to a first fruits offering. The ongoing giving commitments begin in June 2008 and continue until June 2011.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MEET MY COMMITMENT?
Up Our Game will last for three years. You can choose to complete your commitment any time during the three-year period.

HOW CAN I GIVE?
We accept cash or checks. You can also fulfill your commitment through stock and bond transfers, real estate, cars, boats, or other non-cash gifts. For more information, call the church office at 407.275.0008.
